Why should I get involved?

I recognize that you are probably busy and just taking the time to read this means a lot. One of the top five excuses of not getting involved with the church - "I'm too busy!"
"But I am", I can hear you say and you probably are busy. But too busy?

I know many people (maybe you) don't hold the same priorities as I. I believe your priorities will define your values and your values will determine what you give your time and effort to. My priorities are ...

  • God
  • Family
  • Church
  • Job/Career
  • etc.

  • We believe it is important to spend time not only with God, but with your family. If we are to have a heathy church, we must have healthy families.

"I would love to Pastor, but I'm not that talented." Seems like a good excuse, but the truth is God has given us all gifts and talents. And we are encouraged to use the gift we have. I have heard it said many times - "God is not interested in your ability, but your availability."

If we are to have a successful church, we must have involved people and families.

Church is not like a spectator sport, best viewed. But needs your active participation, your current involvement.
