STATEMENT of FAITH


One true God We believe there is One God, existing in three persons & the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit [Ezekial3:14, Isaiah 43:10&11, Revelation 21:6]

One true Word of God We believe there is only one True Truth, one True Word and that is the Bible. Both the Old and New Testament. [2 Timothy 3:16&17, 2 Peter 1:21]

Creation of the world We believe in the Genesis creation. That all created things began with God s conception and his Word. [Genesis 1:1-31]

Original Sin / Original Fall We believe that there was an Adam and an Eve. They lived in an innocent state in a paradise called the Garden of Eden. We believe that both Adam and Eve willingly and by their choice, chose to disobey (SIN against) God. [Genesis 3:1-24]

Virgin birth of Christ We believe that God chose a young virgin Jewish girl named Mary. And she became a willing vessel to carry God's Son, Christ to fulfill his plan to redeem mankind. [Matthew 1:18-25]

Only One true hope We believe that Jesus Christ died for all mankind. That he was buried but rose again three days later and ascended into heaven to complete God's redemption plan. We believe that by Accepting, Believing on and Confessing our sins to Jesus Christ and asking and receiving his forgiveness, we truly can be saved. [Acts 4:12, Romans 3:23, Romans, 6:23, 1 John 1:9, John 1:12, Romans 10:9, John 8:24, John 14:6]

Baptism of the Holy Ghost We believe that Jesus sent another comforter, a power to live within us. We believe that the Holy Spirit works in our life to convict and work the salvation of Jesus in us. Yet there is a deeper experience, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit whose primary (but not exclusive) evidence is Speaking in Tongues. [John 14:16&17, Acts 1:5]

2nd coming of Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus is coming again to gather his saints. Those who are dead in body and those still alive. That we will be caught up in the air (the Rapture) to be with Christ. [John 14:1-3 ,1 Thessalonians 4:16-17]

Healing We believe that the 39 stripes on Jesus back are for the healing of his people. [Isaiah 53:5, Luke 9:11, James 5:14-16]

Choices We believe each of us is responsible for our own choices. God has given each of us the opportunity to accept him. [Joshua 24:15, Job 34:4, Isaiah 7:15]

Sacred Ordinances We believe that we should honor our Savior through Foot washing and Communion. [John 13:12-14, 1 Corinthians 11:24-28]

Water Baptism We believe in being baptized in water (full emersion) as an act of obedience and a profession of our faith in Christ. [Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, John 3:5]

Growth of the Believer We believe that Salvation is just the first step in our journey with God. We must take those next steps for our continued growth in Christ. We need to continue to grow daily. [Psalms 139:23&24, Romans 6:6; 12-14; 16-18; 22, 2 Peter 3:18, 1 Peter 1:15&16]

Message of Hope We believe the only true HOPE for the world is found in Jesus Christ. Jesus came to give us HOPE for tomorrow (the hereafter) and also HOPE for today. Jesus told us to share that message of HOPE and to go into all the world. [Hebrews 6:19, Romans 15:13]

the Church We believe the church (the local body of Christ) is imperative today. It is not about doctrine, domination or tradition. It is about sharing, giving and lifting up our follow brothers and sisters in Christ. It is about catching a vision to change our lives, and those around us. It is about setting aside our pride, our ego, our very dreams and humbling ourselves and uniting in prayer and desire to challenge, convince and change our world. [Mark 16:15, John 4:23&24, Ephesians 4:11-16, Hebrews 10:25, 1 Thessalonians 3:12, 1 John 4:7]

the Blessed Hope We believe those who have accepted Christ, as savior will be with God. Our bodies transformed that can be in the presence of God and bask in his glory. [1 Corinthians 15:51-57]

Final Judgement We believe there will be a final judgment; where those whose name is not written in the Book of Life will stand before God and be judged on their works, since they have not accepted Jesus as the way. All, including the devil and his angels, the beast and false prophet will be condemned to the lake of fire for eternity. [Revelations 20:11-15, Matthew 7:21-23]
